In an effort to shift the residue of the festive period, the BPSFA emarked upon a mini cycling tour of Wiltshire. Despite somebody crashing owing to an inconveniently placed peg alongside the canal, all had a good time and returned safely from the 28 mile round trip. Cake at the end was well deserved!
Training recommences for all age groups this Wedsnesday 9th January 2013. Usual times and location
The annual get-together of numerous families to experience life in the mountains took place in the week before Christmas. Mr Harbinson showed the way forward as he boarded the slopes with precision (although off piste was a bit more challenging), and the first timers all did a great job of being able to get over the mountain by the third day. A great time had by all in glorious conditions - can't wait for next year!
An excellent morning with some fast flowing pass and move football. Some more images here ( some good and some rubbish ones as well)
The game started off well and the first 15 mins was an even affair. Our boys passed well in the defending and middle thirds but were too eager to play forwards in the final third when more patience and quality was required.
8:00am on a Sunday morning is not a usual departure time for me, but I was rewarded with a beautiful morning, no traffic on the road and a fine view across the valley whilst driving up Box Hill. I picked up Timothy from Chippenham (didn't think that his new 'private ambulance' would make it all the way to Oxford).
