BWB 11s made a good start to their Cotswold League campaign with a solid performance against Plymouth SFA.
The under 11s took part in a friendly game against Bath City under 12s on Saturday at Chilly. Playing four periods, and with the weather holding, there was plenty of football to see and the BWB boys put in some mcuh needed time together to slowly build the udnerstanding that will be needed for their first game against Plymouth on Saturday.
A number of boys have decided to continue their football development and their studies by winning scholarships in the US.
Bath And Wiltshire Schools' Sports Trust has officially been awarded charitable status this week.
The BWB banner of the Trust will continue as normal, but the Trust aims to increase its activities by offering local schools the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports through festivals and tournaments.
Former Bath Schools player Kristian Scott has signed at the Liberty Stadium from Stoke City on a two-year deal. Thankfully he no longer has a need for the dummy, but the 19 year old midfield player is looking forward to hooking up with his new Premier League team mates.
BWB under 11s made their first competitive start to the season by participating in the JPL tournmant at Lansdown. With a squad of 14 and an 0830 start, parents and players alike braved the chill for some football which had a bit of everything.

In our traditional old boys vs new boys fixture, the under 12s put in a nice performance following on from their successes in Holland and Germany at the end of last season. For the 11s it was a good run out following on from the pre-season camp and they are now aware of the expectations in terms of standard of play.
The mixed under 9 and under 10 squad hosted 2012/13 League Champions Westbury United this morning and put in a pleasing display in the last of the summer's sunshine. With a large squad of 18 players, all were keen to showcase their abilities having enjoyed a productive few days in Bideford, and they did not disappoint the coaches or parents.
