With a larger squad than ever, BWB gave debuts to a number of players and they seemed to settle in fine amongst the old guard who showed moments of class through the four periods.
Congratulations to Sam Cray who has been selected to be teh under 12 captain for the season. Sam takes over from Archie Harding who did a great job last season and has left Sam a good example to follow. We wish Sam the best of luck and know he will serve his team mates well.

What seemed like a good idea on an evening out in Gothenburg, became a reality in a matter of weeks as 13 boys and 3 coaches landed at Gatwick last Thursday. With the new campaign getting off to such a busy start there are a number of thank yous already to be expressed.
Firstly, we would like to mention the staff who attended the Azzurri and Bideford camps. For newcomers Simon, Sam, Bryn and Chris it was a baptism of fire into Planet Smurf! They did a fab job and showed the sort of care and attention that makes the BWB programme so special.
The first major activity of the new academic year ended on Sunday with a family barbeque for all members of the BWB clan.
