Players will be selected and we hope to take a 14 man squad for the event.

11s v Gloucester

report by Chalky aged 10!

On 14th February some Smurfs went to play Gloucester on a bright day on a bobbly pitch. It was unlucky for the Smurfs because we lost 3-1.Although we did have some great play in the second half with Niall slotting the ball past the opposition keeper.

13s find it tough against the Robins

14s' joy in cup game

It was not pretty, and not the sort of performance one would usually associate with BWB, but the 14s overcame Yeovil with a dogged performance this morning.

Yeovil was determined to play a high line and thus condense the space.  This made it near impossible to get a rhythm or succession of passes through the thirds, so the result was a typical 'English' lower league game; a fight and more long balls!

11s below par against Swindon

The under 11s produced a disappoiting performance to go down against Swindon at home.

12s & 13s face N Somerset & Gosport Borough

Under 12 report by Chris Ransome

Half term action in Eastleigh

Players from the udner 10s and udner 11s travelled to the south coast on Wednesday to visit Eastleigh FC.

With quite a few on holiday, it was an opportunity for more boys to get a run out against good opposition, and they did not disappoint Damo and Shane.

The boys, albeit a little soft at times, gave a good account of themselves and enjoyed an appropriate challenge to test themselves against.

Next game on Saturday for the 11s against Swindon
